We are not sales people or wedding industry experts. We're an eccentric and creative couple who started this passion project after we couldn't find what we were looking for for our own 1950s themed wedding.

Meet the team: Colleen and James. We’re the creative, easy-going duo behind Velvet Rabbit Events. Colleen is the 'vibe' architect and creative director, while James is our logistics mastermind and muscle. With both of us coming from emergency services backgrounds, we can handle anything an event throws our way—so you can just relax and enjoy the vibe

We serve Hamilton (local) and the surrounding areas. This includes Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, Brampton, Georgetown, Grismby, St Catharines, Niagara, Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener/Waterloo
It's never too early or too late to book. As long as the item is still available for the date you're looking for then you're good to go. We'll do our best to accommodate short notice requests.
We require a 25% deposit on your full rental price to secure your date.
We take a refundable damage deposit.
Final payment is due one week prior to your event. This allows us to prepare your pieces with care and ensure everything is ready to bring your vision to life.
Delivery and pickup for our large items within Hamilton is $140. For events beyond a 20 km radius, we charge $6 per additional kilometre. Pickup is also available.
